Intensive Retreat (10 Days)
Our Intensive Retreat is designed for practitioners who wish to deepen their Samadhi (concentration) and develop Vipassana (insight). This is a period of strict training under the guidance of Jin Kyeong Sunim.
Technique: We focus on Anapanasati (Mindfulness of Breathing) to calm the mind, followed by the Four Elements meditation and Insight practice as taught in the Pa-Auk tradition.
Noble Silence: Participants observe absolute silence. No speaking, no mobile phones, no reading, and no writing. This isolation allows you to turn your attention entirely inward.

Who is this for?
A strict, guided retreat for those ready to face their own minds.
This is not a relaxation holiday. It is a period of rigorous mental training.
Our Intensive Retreat is designed for practitioners who are ready to silence the noise of the world and dedicate themselves entirely to the Dhamma. Under the guidance of Jin Kyeong Sunim, you will follow the systematic path of Early Buddhism (Pa-Auk tradition).
You will wake before dawn, eat only two meals a day, and maintain Noble Silence. In exchange for this discipline, you gain the rare opportunity to purify the mind and see reality as it truly is.
We do not offer a "mix" of techniques. We follow the precise, step-by-step instructions of the Visuddhimagga (The Path of Purification).
Step 1: Sila (Morality): We begin by undertaking the 8 Precepts, creating a foundation of ethical purity.
Step 2: Samatha (Concentration): The primary object is Anapanasati (Mindfulness of Breathing). You will train the mind to stay with the breath at the entrance of the nostrils until the "Nimbus" (Nimitta) appears, leading to Jhana (Absorption).
Step 3: Vipassana (Wisdom): With a concentrated mind, you will discern the Four Elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Wind) within the body, eventually seeing the rise and fall of all mental and physical phenomena.
